Biography

A tackling machine. Irish-qualified Sean Reffell joined Ulster from Saracens, where he was awarded Young Player of the Season in 2020/21. Reffell made headlines when he made an incredible 39 tackles against Munster in Jan 2023. A long-term ankle injury has reduced his playing time in an Ulster jersey, but a fit Reffell is a great weapon to use in the back row.
